The rebate money is real. The problem is that equipment choices, missed paperwork, and unconfirmed tiers quietly drain it away before the rebate check ever arrives. Peach Heat and Cool has been installing MRCOOL® heat pumps and ductless mini-splits across Southeastern Massachusetts since 2020. We confirm your tier at the quote, install only compliant equipment, and file every form after the job.
Our licensed heat pump installers confirm your program, install qualifying equipment, and file complete documentation with Mass Save so your rebate application is accurate and ready for review on the first submission.
The highest Mass Save tier for qualifying homeowners replacing oil, propane, natural gas, or electric resistance as primary heat. At $2,650 per ton up to $8,500, a correctly sized 3.2-ton system reaches the maximum. Requires weatherization compliance, fossil fuel removal, and a signed Whole-Home Verification Form from your HPIN installer.
Maximum combined: $9,500
The right tier for most multi-zone ductless mini-split installations. Your heat pump handles the majority of heating and the existing system stays as a backup. Two additional bonuses are available exclusively on this tier, bringing the maximum possible total to $9,500.
$250 per ton, capped at $2,500
Single-zone mini-splits, garage and addition systems, and existing heat pump replacements land here. No fossil fuel displacement required, and the basic rebate can stack on top of a whole-home or partial-home rebate when adding heat pumps to unconditioned spaces. Total per account is capped at $8,500.
No-cost installation up to $16,000 for qualifying households
Households at or below 60% of Area Median Income may qualify for a no-cost heat pump installation with up to $16,000 in covered equipment, installation, and electrical work. 100% free weatherization is also included. Verify eligibility at masssave.com/enhanced or by calling 1-888-714-3990.
Estimated savings: approximately $540 per winter
Eversource and National Grid customers who heat with a qualifying heat pump receive a reduced distribution rate from November 1 through April 30 each year. Eversource customers pay $0.02052 per kWh versus the $0.06264 standard. National Grid customers pay $0.02440 per kWh versus the $0.06677 standard. Estimated average savings: approximately $540 per winter, recurring each year you own the system.
Peach Heat and Cool helps homeowners in Taunton and the surrounding area navigate Mass Save rebates for qualifying heat pump and ductless mini-split installations. We verify eligibility, handle all paperwork, and ensure you get the full savings without chasing forms or waiting for approvals.
When your system qualifies, we apply the rebate as a line-item reduction on your invoice. This means your MRCOOL® heat pump or ductless mini-split starts saving you money from day one—no delays, no guessing, no separate reimbursement.
Mass Save rebates stack with Massachusetts sales tax exemptions, MLP programs, and the HEAT Loan for 0% financing. We explain every applicable incentive so you can see your total savings before any work begins.
Peach Heat and Cool is an authorized MRCOOL® dealer and an HPIN-enrolled contractor in Massachusetts. Without HPIN enrollment, no Mass Save rebate can be processed regardless of what equipment is installed. Every qualifying installation is eligible from day one.
Book NowBristol County winters require heat pumps sized correctly for actual cold-climate performance. Peach Heat and Cool installs heat pumps and ductless mini-splits exclusively and has done so across Southeastern Massachusetts since 2020. Our technicians know the housing stock, the climate, and what actually fails in the field.
Book NowR-410A was removed from the Mass Save Qualified Products List on January 1, 2026. Any contractor still quoting R-410A disqualifies your rebate before installation starts. Every MRCOOL® system Peach installs uses compliant next-generation refrigerant, verified before the order is placed.
Book NowThe gap between the whole-home and partial-home tier is $1,525 per ton. We review your rebate tier, equipment eligibility, and estimated rebate range as part of every quote before work starts. Final rebate amounts are determined by Mass Save after the application is reviewed.
Book NowOne zone starts at $5,500 all-in with electrical. Six zones run approximately $23,000. That is the full installed price with MRCOOL® equipment purchased directly from the distributor. Premium brands run $35,000 to $45,000 for the same job. Every line item is visible before you sign anything.
Book NowIncomplete paperwork is the main reason Mass Save rebate processing takes longer than it should. We prepare and submit everything together: rebate form, Whole-Home Verification Form, Manual J load calculation, and contractor certifications, on a single complete first submission.
Book NowEvery review reflects a completed installation in Bristol, Plymouth, or Norfolk County. Clean work, honest communication, and systems that perform the way they were described at the estimate. Read the reviews before you decide.
Book NowMost contractors install and disappear. Peach Heat and Cool services every system we install, handles rebate documentation, and is available for seasonal tune-ups and diagnostic work. One company, one contact, for the life of the equipment.
Book NowAfter your Mass Save rebate is applied, the HEAT Loan covers your remaining balance at zero percent interest, with no fees and no prepayment penalties. It covers heat pump equipment, electrical panel upgrades, and related weatherization. Your Mass Save home energy assessment gives you the paperwork, you bring it to your bank or credit union, and you get up to seven years to repay. TMLP and BELD customers have their own 0% loan options through their MLP programs.
A properly maintained MRCOOL® heat pump runs for 15 to 20 years. One that skips seasonal service shows it first during the season that demands the most from it. Our seasonal heat pump servicing in Massachusetts covers coil cleaning, refrigerant charge checks, condensate line clearing, airflow testing across every zone, and thermostat calibration — before each heating and cooling season, not after a breakdown.
Schedule spring service in April or May before humidity season. Schedule fall service in September or October before heating season. Two tune-ups a year, one contact for the life of the system.
Massachusetts winters put real demand on heating systems. Every town in our service area has homeowners sitting on Mass Save rebate eligibility they have not yet claimed. Our licensed technicians cover heat pump installation, seasonal servicing, and done-for-you rebate processing across 30+ towns. Honest quotes, compliant equipment, and complete paperwork on every qualifying job.
Not for the basic rebate. Whole-home projects require weatherization verification before installation. Partial-home projects need a completed assessment to unlock the $500 weatherization bonus. We determine what applies to your project during the quote and coordinate the assessment as part of the project timeline.
Yes. The partial-home tier at $1,125 per ton (up to $8,500) is built for exactly this. Your heat pump handles the majority of heating and the existing system stays as a backup. An integrated control is required for oil or propane backup systems to manage the automatic switchover.
Yes, provided the system delivers both heating and cooling. Cooling-only units are not eligible under any tier. A single-zone mini-split typically qualifies for the basic tier. A multi-zone system heating the majority of the home may qualify for the partial-home or whole-home tier.
Replacing one heat pump with a new one qualifies for the basic rebate at $250 per ton, up to $2,500. It does not qualify for the partial-home or whole-home tier. Mass Save recommends a no-cost decarbonization consultation before starting work in this scenario.
Yes, and they are designed to be used together. The rebate is applied to your total project cost first. The HEAT Loan then picks up the rest at 0% interest, with up to seven years to pay it off. Your bank issues the loan.
