Heat Pump & Mini-Split Projects, Explained

Peach Heat and Cool specializes in heat pump installation, ductless mini-split installation, and heat pump servicing for homes and small businesses across Southeastern Massachusetts. Our project stories show how those systems fit different properties, from older Taunton capes and colonials to additions, garages, workshops, and multi-zone homes.

Every property has its own heating and cooling challenge. Some need a whole-home heat pump. Others need one ductless mini-split for a room that never feels right. Older homes may need a different approach altogether.

27 Ductless Units Bring St. John the Baptist Church Back to Comfortable Sundays

St. John the Baptist Church in Quincy was dealing with an outdated system that made services difficult during warmer weather. Peach Heat and Cool installed 27 two-ton ductless mini-split units, giving the church a practical way to heat and cool the building without major interior ductwork.

The project also came with $112,000 in Mass Save incentives, dramatically reducing the church’s installation cost. With video footage showing the project inside and out, this is one of our strongest examples of what ductless mini-split installation can do for large community spaces.

Another Church in the Parish, Another 13-Unit Ductless Upgrade

After completing the St. John the Baptist Church project in Quincy, Peach Heat and Cool was brought in to handle another church within the same parish. This project called for 13 two-ton ductless mini-split units, providing heating and cooling without the need for traditional ductwork inside the building.

The project shows how the same ductless approach can be adapted to large worship spaces where conventional HVAC installation would be difficult or disruptive.
